Infrastructure, exceeding expectations
The winery is located on a site with a natural slope. This natural gradient has been incorporated into the design of the winery and helps achieve a linear flow. The modern architecture facilitates the idea of clean rooms by helping avoid contamination, with interconnected spaces optimizing movement inside the winery.
The winery has a built up capacity of almost 1 million litres with separate tank halls for red wine and white wine. Separate tank halls at different levels help maintain a gravity flow and eliminate the use of pumps. The winery has a barrel storage area of almost 6000 sq.ft., which is a first of its kind in India.
All the process equipment is imported from Italy while the tanks are indigenously manufactured. The red wine tanks have been customized to have larger sized manholes to enable punchdowns on red wine grapes, which is also a first in India.
We implement the best industry practices, including safety standards for personnel. To encourage sustainable farming at the estate, we treat waste water in an ETP and use the treated effluent for irrigation. |
